94.7 The Pulse Radiothon
Every year, as a station we hold a fundraising event – this year called the 94.7 The Pulse Radiothon.
This is concentrated effort to fundraise for the station, and reward our loyal and fiercely proud subscribers. As part of this, this year we are hosting a night of local music at the station. This event is FREE for Subscribers of 94.7 The Pulse.
94.7 The Pulse Radiothon 2025 Fundraiser: Mt. Pleasant and more
In celebration of our 2025 Radiothon fundraiser, and our first year of independence as a community radio station, we are hosting a night of live music at our studios to celebrate the rich musical talent of Geelong.
94.7 The Pulse has been broadcasting in some way, shape, or form to the Geelong and Surf Coast Shire since 1988. We are proudly a community station, and commit our entire being to supporting community endeavors, events, and organisations. In 2025 we became fully independent, which opened an exciting new chapter for the station.
The night will include unplugged live sets of music, as well as in-depth interviews with the artists performing. Come and enjoy the heart-warming folk-rock from Mt. Pleasant, singer-songwriter-producer-artist-bleeding heart stonnii, and folk-country inspired Karyn Bourne.
All funds will go towards supporting the station, and allowing us to continue as an independent broadcaster for the Greater Geelong community.
If you aren’t a subscriber, and want to support the station you can do so from the following link: https://947thepulse.com/subscribe-to-the-pulse/
Alternatively, you can come to 94.7 The Pulse between the hours of 10am – 3pm on weekdays and subscribe in person, or phone us at (03) 52 225 947
As well as gaining FREE entry to this event, subscribing will also give you access to station giveaways and allow us to continue to support the community as an independent broadcaster.
