His background includes working as a print journalist and in public relations and communications across the public and private sectors. Having spent significant time in Canberra, Dave is well-versed in the intricacies of government, media and communication.
Mark Seeckts, presenter of ‘The Latteline’, is deeply rooted in the community and brings a wealth of local experience to his show. With over 20 years of teaching and a successful track record in hospitality venues, Mark’s diverse background brings depth to both his show and to 94.7 The Pulse. What began as a hobby to learn new skills and explore fresh opportunities led to the creation of ‘The Latteline’, a program inspired by his café experiences where he envisions each program as a friendly chat over coffee. Listeners tuning into ‘The Latteline’ can expect to "find out something new about members of the community they didn’t know about," says Mark. He enjoys the preparation and the meaningful conversations with his guests, especially when they leave feeling proud for doing something new. Through featuring community members on his show, Mark hopes to help listeners appreciate the diversity of Geelong, noting that “there’s interesting people out there that you bump into everyday”.
