Edison to MP3

Tune in to hear music from all periods with an occassional interview. Includes the segments “Celtic Corner” and “Stax Of Wax”.

First aired in 2009, Edison to MP3 was developed from a desire of James to share his musical interests and collection with an audience. Most of the playlists are selected from his large collection. Two areas of particular interest are covered in the regular segments "Celtic Corner" and "Stax Of Wax".

"Celtic Corner" explores Celtic music both from the motherland and from Australian artists steeped in those traditions – either by heritage or choice.

"Stax Of Wax" looks at the history of recorded sound from the 78rpm and cylinder era.

Occasionally an interview with a local musician will be featured in the show as well.
